Eleanor Doughty (pronounced “dow-tee”) (she/they) is a Seattle-based illustrator who specializes in using emotive color and intuitive linework to capture the unique charm & character of locations. In her practice, she works in formats as large as multi-story murals to pocket-sized sketchbooks. Her clients include Penguin Random House, Stanford University, Marriott, and Hilton.
Eleanor has taught with the Urban Sketchers organization around the world, and has online courses available on the Etchr and Domestika platforms. She earned a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 2013.
When she’s not drawing, Eleanor enjoys riding her small motorcycle, drinking dark roast coffee, and playing badminton.
